MAXINE
Teaches All Classes
Maxine is the Director of Pole Fitness and teaches Pole Fitness classes from Mondays to Thursdays. She is also available for private lessons and pole parties [for any occasion!].
Hi, I’m Maxine and I started running Pole Fitness in 2005 right at the beginning of the Pole Fitness uprising. I was one of the very first instructors in the UK to take pole dancing into a gym environment and to begin the journey to create Pole Dancing into a recognised Sport and Fitness class rather than something reserved for gentlemen’s clubs.
Nothing pleases me more than to see my students achieve something that they didn’t think was possible.
My aim as a teacher is to help every student be the very best they can be. Whether they want to master complex gymnastic moves, spin gracefully or be able to link a fluid routine together, I pride myself on being able to teach a diverse class and inspire students of any ability to learn breathtaking moves, spins, tricks, combinations and routines.
My main strength in pole is spinning and my extensive background in dance ensures I can help all students to be light on their feet and of course, encourage great lines and pointy toes!
It’s hard to choose my favourite move I have so many, but I do like a trick transition.
I love dance and have performed on stage from the tender age of three. Choreography is my absolute passion, and throughout my career, I’ve choreographed thousands of routines.
I’ve also danced at events all over the UK including; The 02 pre-opening ceremony, Sugababes & Kelly Le Roc‘s Birthday Party, the Spiderman 3 after-party and at various top London clubs.

DEANNE
Deanne was originally a Pole Fitness student…
I started learning with Pole Fitness Windsor before training to become a teacher. I had seen a taster session advertised on social media and decided to give it a try.
At the time I considered myself to have poor upper body strength, and I did not think that I would be able to do any of the moves. I was so surprised to discover my own strength. From the first session, I was absolutely hooked! I particularly enjoy the dance aspect of pole, and I love linking moves together in a flow. Having said that I also enjoy pushing myself and taking risks with pole tricks, and I continually prove to myself that I can achieve what I want to if I work at it.
Pole has helped me to develop strength physically as well as mentally. Learning to pole is both challenging and rewarding, and it is great to develop so many new skills and to meet new people along the way.
I love teaching the ladies who attend classes as we always have fun whilst learning. I enjoy helping people to feel at ease, and it’s great to support them to reach their individual pole and fitness goals.
Another thing that I love about pole is that the learning never stops. I take inspiration from the classes that I continue to attend at the studio, and I also enjoy following The Pole Physio on Instagram for further inspiration and tips. I highly recommend giving Pole Fitness a go. Like me, you may be pleasantly surprised.

Teaches on Wednesdays…
One of my favourite moves is reverse grab. If you get it right, it feels like almost flying. But one day, I will master Iron X, and that will become my favourite.
I love Pole Fitness Windsor because it's women for women, a safe space where age, size, and ability don't matter. Each group becomes a team that helps & supports each other to succeed - it's not about being the best or getting the moves right the first time or every time, it's about trying, being safe in your practice and having fun, as well as getting fit and strong
Pole fitness engages body and mind, it never gets boring as there is always something to challenge you
The best part of teaching is seeing the girls progress and grow in their practice and confidence, achieving moves they thought they'd never get. Teaching also helps me with my practice and challenges me to be a better student and a better teacher.

Teaches on Mondays…
I started pole during lockdown and fell in love with it immediately because of how confident it made me feel in my body. I was intrigued to see how far my body could be pushed in terms of strength and flexibility.
As a result of this newfound confidence, I started to teach because I wanted others to share in the experience I was having. I believe the most beautiful thing about pole is the awareness it brings to our body’s capabilities whilst creating a space to release, grow and energise.
My fav pole move is Ayesha mainly because it’s the perfect display of body awareness, weight distribution and mind connection to understand the body’s position.
I am definitely both a dance & tricks girl because I love how well they can flow together with every muscle in the body engaged by doing both.
