Courses

All Pole Fitness courses are run over six weeks and each class lasts for 1½ hrs allowing adequate time for a targeted warm up & cool down. In comparison to some other Pole schools who offer 1hr classes – at Pole Fitness our 1½ hr classes give you more time on the Pole and help you to prevent injury. More time on the pole is always best in our book! 

Each week, step by step, you will learn new moves, tricks and spins. We will recap and practice moves from the previous week and individual attention will be offered to guarantee you personally get the most out of your course. 

We understand that not everyone is a gymnast or dancer and everyone learns at their own pace. We teach all ages, shapes and sizes and courses are taught at the students current level so there is no need to feel intimidated or worried.

TASTER

One off classes are designed to give a taster of the six week beginner course. You will be able to see what goes on and how it is like any other fitness class but with the fun element on top!  There is no pressure to join onto a course, it is purely for your fun and enjoyment. Many people come on their own and it’s a great opportunity to meet new friends. Others bring a group of friends for a girlie night out with a difference! Classes are £10 per person for 1 hour. Tasters are held every 3 weeks. 

The class involves:
A 10 minute warm up
A demonstration of dance moves that can be achieved on the 6 week course
Learning 4 to 6 spins with individual help and advice given
A cool down to stretch out the muscles

BEGINNER 1

Everyone is a beginner in this class so you’re all in the same boat. In the 6 weeks you will learn about 20 spins and attempt to climb the pole . 70% of beginners achieve this but don’t be disheartened if you can’t, I get everyone up there eventually! If youre' a capable student, have strength and if agreed by both parties we will try an invert . It’s a good idea before the course to start doing some press-ups, this is not essential but it will help you. We will work on strength moves throughout the course.

The course involves;
A 20 minute warm up each weeks
Learning 25 moves step by step with individual help and advice
A cool down to stretch out the muscles

BEGINNER 2

In the first lesson you will recap the beginner course to see if there any moves or problems you need help on before moving on. 
Each week you will learn a further approx 4- 6 moves, spins or tricks and we will start to link the moves together. There will be ample time for you to practice and perfect your growing repertoire.

INTERMEDIATE 1

In the first lesson you will recap the Beginner 2 course to see if there any moves or problems you need help on before moving on. 
Each week, as on the previous courses, you will learn approx 4- 6 advanced moves, spins or tricks. We will start to link moves together and you will be encouraged to come up with your own links whilst staying on the pole! We now start to create mini routines.

INTERMEDIATE 2

In the first lesson you will recap the Intermdiate 1 to see if there any moves or problems you need help on before moving on. 
Again, you will learn approx 4- 6 moves, spins or tricks per week. I encourage you to make up your own links on the
pole and show the class. At the end of the course you will be encouraged to freestyle to a piece of music, to practice the real skill of pole dancing, fluidity and rhythm. Moves can look great on their own but you need to be able to come out of them gracefully and link them together. Help and support will be offered throughout and everything is optional so if you feel uncomfortable performing in front of a crowd you won’t be forced to!

ADVANCED PLUS+

The pole world is fast moving and new moves, tricks and transitions are being developed and created every week. At Pole Fitness we constantly refresh our Advanced 1/2/3/4 + courses so that students are constantly learning new things and advancing on their techniques.

ROUTINES - 4 Week or 1 day options

The real art of Pole Dancing is linking the moves together to create a flowing routine. Lots of people can do moves and tricks but struggle to link everything together gracefully. This course  teaches you to think quickly, consider timing, control and link moves and spins. Routine courses are Pole Fitness's speciality! We promise you a great afternoon, of good fun, calorie burning exercise PLUS  you'll get to take home a recorded copy of your performance. You must  have completed a beginner course to do this class.   

The One day class involves: 

  • A 15 minute warm up
  • A demonstration of the routine
  • Practice of the moves we will be using, learning the routine stage by stage
  • Film the routine on camera 
  • Cool down and stretches

The class will be approximately 3-4 hours long and there will be a max of two girls per pole. The cost of the course is £40 pp.  Any level can express an interest as different options of the routine will be available from Beginners to Advanced.

The 4 week course involves :

  • 1.5 hours lessons
  • A 15 minute warm up
  • A demonstration of the routine
  • Practice moves of the routine

Each week we will progress with the routine recapping moves as we go, the course is £70 and classes are 1.5hrs long. By week four we will have perfected the routine and be ready to film. This is your choice, I do not make any one do anything they do not feel comfortable with. Remember its yours to keep! It helps with progression, no one else has to see it but you! This course is a fun calorie burner that increases your confidence!

WEEKLY POLE CLUB

EVERY Monday
8.30pm till 9.30pm
Pole Club is great if .....

  • You’re unable to commit to a six week course
  • You're in between courses
  • You haven't been for a while and want to get back in to it
  • You’re not sure which course you should choose next
  • Offer a chance to meet other polers at a mixed ability level

 £12.50 per session £60 for 6x sessions (£10.00 per class) 

You get to practice for 1hr with help on linking moves and perfecting your spins. We will help you learn a little more too!

LAP DANCE FOR FUN

This workshop will teach you a sexy and erotic lap routine that you can use time and time again on your man.
We’ll teach you moves that will entice your partner and give you new found skills and confidence.

We provide the wine!

You will learn:

  • Basic erotic moves
  • Rolls and fun chair / lap moves
  • Transitions from floor to chair / lap and back again.
  • Incorporating your environment
  • Performance effectiveness / styles practice

You may come alone or bring a friend.
For Women Only. Please wear comfortable clothing. There is no nudity. 
High heels are not required but are welcome.

Please bring a bikini with ties- this goes over your clothes £15.00 pp (includes wine)

POLE SAS - STRENGTH AND STRETCH

This class is perfect for everyone who wants to get stronger, more flexible and build up some dance stamina.
You can be an absolute beginner or expert. In this class we will teach you pole moves that build 
muscle strength, endurance and flexibility. We will also include a pole burn section to increase your stamina.

If you want to increase your strength and flexibility this is the class for you!
